MIS is a department in Information Technology Services that supports the college’s administrative systems including, but not limited to, the Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Systems (MyRIC portal, Campus Solutions, Human Resources, and Financials).
Management Information Services (MIS) is responsible for providing technical support for all administrative functions at Rhode Island College.
Monday–Friday: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
(Summer hours: Monday–Friday: 8 am–4 pm)
All IT requests, including ones you believe MIS will help you with, should be made through our Helpdesk. When you contact the Helpdesk a staff member will put you in touch with the best person to assist you.

In addition to supporting Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Systems at RIC, MIS also assisting with scanning bubble sheets related to exams. When faculty utilize bubble sheets to administer exams to their students, MIS runs those bubble sheets through a scanner and reports are generated for the faculty. Faculty can choose which reports they want and in what format (Excel or PDF) by completing our form.

MIS also assists in scanning faculty evaluation surveys. If a faculty member opts to have their students fill out paper evaluations, those evaluations should be delivered to MIS for scanning.
