If you're wondering whether you're eligible to graduate, the Registrar's Office can assist. Please meet with your graduation advisor and review our graduation preparation information. Also, if you're in your last semester, with 1-2 credits short of the 120 credits required to graduate, take a look at credit completion through Red Cross certification, to complete the necessary credits to graduate.
The Commencement Office handles all the details and logistics for both the undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies. This ceremony, which will honor those earning a master's or doctorate level degree or a certificate of graduate study, will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the Recreation Center, on the RIC Campus.
This ceremony, which will honor those earning a bachelor's degree, will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10 am (procession at 9:20 am) at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in downtown, Providence, Rhode Island.
