Steps To Graduate | Grad Fest
For undergraduate and advanced degree graduating students, there are 5 main steps to take toward graduation: applying to graduate, reviewing your academic records, confirming your home mailing address, ordering your cap & gown, and attending Grad Fest – Wednesday, April 8 from 10 am–6 pm in the Recreation Center.
What is Grad Fest?
Grad Fest is your one-stop shop for all your graduation needs and information. You can obtain your guest tickets, pick up your graduation ceremony regalia, and have your general questions answered about the 2026 ceremonies.
5 Steps to Take Toward Graduating
Step 1: Apply to Graduate
Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 graduates who have not applied to graduate must do so on MyRIC. (This step is not applicable to January 2026 graduates.)

- Ensure that all of your coursework is complete and on record.
- Review your grades for the semester.
Step 3: Confirm Your Home Mailing Address
Your diploma is mailed to your home address. Use the Change Information (Name/Address) Form to change your address, if needed. Please submit completed forms to the Registrar's Office, located in Building 4, lower level (east campus).
Step 4: Order Your Graduation Regalia (Cap & Gown)
If you order your regalia online on or before Sunday, March 1, 2026, you will be able to pick up your regalia at Grad Fest. The last day to place an online regalia delivery, for home delivery, is Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
