2024-2025 Undergraduate Resident Meal Plans

Undergraduate Residents are required to choose from one of three Meal Plans (A, B, or C) when living on campus. All Residents are initially placed in Meal Plan A when their Housing Deposit is received.

  • Dining Services encourages Residents to choose Meal Plan A as it offers the greatest value over cost of any of the Residential Meal Plans when fully utilized!

  • Residents are encouraged to download the free GET App to change their meal plan option, monitor meal and Flex Point orders, and order ahead. The app can also be used to order a Convenience Meal or food service should they be required to isolate or quarantine.

Nutritional Services

Nutrition counseling is available to RIC students during the academic year. The services of a Licensed, Registered Dietitian are available to students wanting information on general nutrition, weight management, food allergies, or specific therapeutic diets. In addition to nutrition consultations, dining tours, group classes, and taste demos are other resources provided to enhance your academic and campus life experience. The nutrition office is located in the Faculty Center and appointments can be made by emailing Bethany Tucker (RD, LDN) at btucker@ric.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our meal plans are comprised of Meal Swipes, BEESTRO Swipes and Dining Flex Points.

Meal Swipes are used to purchase meals from Donovan Dining Center.

BEESTRO Swipes can be used at The Beestro Café or at Donovan Dining Center. Meal plan holders get 2 meals per week to use at the Beestro.

Flex Dollars are like cash and can be uses for food and retail products in either Donovan or The Beestro and in campus vending machines.

A meal swipe has a cash equivalency value of up to $11.00 per transaction. Meals are traditionally a choice of an entrée, sides, house-made desserts and fountain and non-premium bottled beverages.

Meal plan holders can use one meal swipe per meal period, up to three meals per weekday and two meals on the weekends.

No Worries! Our Never-Miss-A-Meal Program allows students to pre-order and pick up meals at a convenient time via the GET App. We are committed to working with students who have a verifiable class, internship / externship or athletic conflict. See a member of our management team for more information.

Meals reset every Sunday at 11:59pm.
