Educational Testing Service Accommodations
RIC students taking the PRAXIS, TOEFL, GRE may be eligible to receive disability-related accommodations through the Educational Testing Service (ETS), which administers these and other tests.
It is important to note that approval for accommodations at Rhode Island College does not guarantee accommodations for exams administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). ETS independently makes those determinations.
If a RIC student or graduate believes they need accommodations for an exam administered by ETS, they will need to submit current and complete disability documentation to ETS directly. The Center for Disability Access (CDA) may assist in the process of providing necessary documentation to ETS if the student meets specific ETS criteria.
You’ll need to use both the Bulletin and the Bulletin Supplement for Test Takers with Disabilities or Health-related Needs on the ETS website to successfully request accommodations and register to test.
