Each year, from September 15 to October 15, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month. This is a time to celebrate the achievements, histories, traditions, and cultural diversity of Hispanic and Latiné Americans.

RIC is hosting a number of events to honor Hispanic and Latiné Heritage Month. We hope that you'll participate, learn, celebrate, and enjoy with us!

2025 RIC Latiné Summit – September 26

The Unity Center's 2025 RIC Latiné Summit: Always Forward / Siempre Para Adelante will bring together people across Rhode Island to explore career success, personal empowerment, and Latiné issues and activism. This event is free and open to all members of the community, and we especially welcome those interested in learning more about and engaging with Latiné populations on and off campus. Join us for the opportunity to hear keynote speaker Oscar Mejias, CEO of RI Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
