Service Awards and Excellence Awards are given to Rhode Island College faculty and staff in recognition of employment longevity and value of contribution to the college.
Service Awards
Service Awards are given to faculty and staff who have achieved milestone employment with Rhode Island College and are given for years of service including 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 years.
Excellence Awards
The President’s Excellence Awards highlight mission-driven service to the Rhode Island College community and its students, colleagues and partners. One member from each union is selected to receive the recognition. Nominations should include which core value(s) the nominee represents. The selection committee includes a representative from each union, the Provost's Office, and is chaired by a member of the Office of the President.
