RIC Council Charter and By-Laws
The chief legislative and regulatory agency of the Faculty shall be the Council of Rhode Island College (The Council).
The Council shall be a representative deliberative body dealing with, and possessing authority to act on, questions of policy related to matters of interest to the faculty. The function of the Council shall be to examine and evaluate current policies in the light of the philosophy, purposes, and assigned functions of the College, and to recommend such amendments and additions of policy as are deemed necessary or desirable to provide for the most effective operation of the College.

Undergraduate Curriculum Committee
The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee is responsible for the approval and oversight of all aspects of the undergraduate curricula, including honors programs and general education.
