Apply to graduate – as soon as possible – so that your Graduation Advisor can verify that you're on track to complete your degree this spring. If you're in your last semester, and 1-2 credits short of the required 120, take a look at credit completion through Red Cross certification. Your advisor can give you more information. The Commencement Office handles all the details and logistics for both the undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies. This ceremony, which will honor those earning a master's or doctorate level degree or a certificate of graduate study, will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the Recreation Center, on the RIC Campus.
This ceremony, which will honor those earning a bachelor's degree, will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10 am (procession at 9:20 am) at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in downtown, Providence, Rhode Island.
