Echo 2 Smartpens
The Echo 2 Smartpen is used in conjunction with smart paper notebooks to take handwritten notes in class while simultaneously recording the lecture.
The Smartpen audio recording quality settings can be changed to accommodate larger or smaller and quieter dictation settings where a higher or lower-level quality recording may be desired. The audio is synced with the notes as they’re being written. The user can tap on their handwritten notes with their Smartpen to hear back the audio that corresponds to that section of notes. The synced audio and notes can be transferred to the user’s computer via the included Smartpen USB-C cable or by Bluetooth connection and can be managed using the Livescribe+ Smartpen application compatible with Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Android devices. The Livescribe+ application allows users to view, sort, search, rename, and increase the playback speed of their handwritten notes, listen to any captured audio, export, save, share, and send notes and audio files as different file types to a user’s computer, email, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneNote, and Evernote accounts.
