Dr. Molly McKeon serves as the Director of the Center for Disability Access and ADA/504 Coordinator at Rhode Island College. In this role, she fosters a climate of disability equity and ensures compliance with accessibility regulations. She is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) and is a recent doctoral graduate in Leadership for Educational Equity from the University of Colorado Denver, where she researched the institutional adoption of Universal Design for Learning pedagogy in higher education. She is an adjunct instructor in the Master’s in Higher Education program at Providence College, where she teaches courses on disability access, culturally competent practice and qualitative research methods. Before joining Rhode Island College, Molly held roles as Assistant Director of Accessibility at Providence College, Director of ACCESSibility at Mercy University, and as a middle-high school special education teacher. Molly was elected to the board of New England’s Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) Chapter in 2023, and in 2024, she was recognized by the ACPA Coalition for Disability, receiving the Alice A. Mitchell Ally Award.
