Karley Batalon is one of the Assistant Directors in the Center for Disability Access at Rhode Island College, where she works closely with students looking to register with the Center and helps coordinate accommodations that support their academic success. She’s passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive campus environment, and partners with faculty and staff to promote access and equity across the college community. Karley holds a B.A. in Psychology from Keene State College in New Hampshire and an M.Ed. from Curry College in Massachusetts. Before joining RIC, she spent six years at Dean College as the Accessibility Services Coordinator and Success and Career Advisor—roles where she had the joy of guiding students through both academic challenges and future planning. Outside of work, Karley enjoys life with her husband of 16 years, Brian, and their two boys, Nathan (14) and Jason (8). Their home is full of love, tail wags, and slobbery kisses thanks to their two dogs: Reese, their 160-pound English Mastiff and the true princess of the family, and Mack, their sweet and goofy 6-month-old St. Bernard/Mastiff mix.
