Professor Ellen Carillo, UCONN (Waterbury) will share what current research tells us about how postsecondary students read today. She will explore practical ways instructors can support students’ development as readers and integrate attention to reading into courses across the curriculum. Participants will leave with concrete, low-stakes strategies for teaching reading without sacrificing significant class time.
