Approximately 60,000 people die each year from uncontrolled bleeding. The first responders at any emergency are often the people already there. Learn what to do when seconds matter - at school, at home, or at work.

Join the Rhode Island Medical Reserve Corps (RIMRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the Training, Innovation and Leadership Institute (TILI) for hands-on training in Stop the Bleed techniques and Narcan administration. Participants will learn how to control life-threatening bleeding and recognize and respond to a suspected opioid overdose.

This training is open to Rhode Island College students, faculty, and staff. Advance registration is required.
