In next month’s election, Rhode Island College is on the ballot!

Question 1 asks voters to approve a $275 million investment in higher education, including $50 million for Rhode Island College to modernize Adams Library and create a new Student Success and Career Readiness Center.

The new center will bring together academic advising, career services, employer connections, and opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. All of which will help prepare our students for high-paying careers and strengthen pathways from college to the workforce. It will also help improve student outcomes, increase retention and completion, and ensure that more RIC students have the support they need to reach their goals.

We’ll have free food, pom poms and T-shirts, and, most importantly, the opportunity to hear directly from our students about what this new center would mean for them. We hope to see you there.
