Active Threat/Active Shooter (ATAS) Training is a 90-minute training designed to prepare students, faculty, and staff to respond effectively in the unlikely event of an active assailant situation.
What You Will Learn
Participants will learn situational awareness skills, response options (Run, Hide, Fight/Avoid, Deny, Defend), and practical protective strategies specific to a college campus environment. This is a 90-minute program hosted by the Rode Island College Campus Police Department, Both sessions are open to all members of the Rhode Island College community.
