What We Do
The RIC Student Union complements academia on campus by creating a student-centered environment. It supports programming, community, and services to the RIC community and serves as a space for students, staff, faculty, and guests to utilize.

What's in the Student Union?
The Student Union has a variety of offices and amenities located on each of its floors. Within the Student Union you can find:
- 1st Floor – RIC Beestro, RIC Beestro Lounge, Various Gaming Tables
- 2nd Floor – The Student Life Hub, The RIC Bookstore, The Military Resource Center, Lounge Space
- 3rd Floor – Student Union Ballroom, 2 Conference Rooms, Skybridge connecting the SU to Donovan Dining Center
- 4th Floor – Student Engagement & Leadership Development, Student Community Government, Unity Center’s Lavender Lounge, Student Organization Office Spaces.
The Student Life Hub
Located in the Student Union, the Student Life Hub at Rhode Island College serves as a central resource for students. We support many aspects of engagement and community on campus. The Hub offers a wide range of services aimed at enhancing the student experience.
- The Hub serves as an information desk for all aspects of Student Life, with trained operations assistants who are able to answer any questions a student, faculty, staff member, or visitor may have.
- We provide guidance on student organizations, campus events, while helping students get involved and stay connected.
- Students can also rent out equipment for the games available in the Beestro, including pool, air hockey, Nintendo Switch, etc.
Whether students are seeking social connections or need assistance navigating college life, the Student Life Hub is an essential part of RIC’s student support system.
