Report Hazing

Please report hazing to Campus Police, the Dean of Students, Student Engagement & Leadership Development or the National Hazing Hotline.

Reports may be anonymous, but more information helps investigations proceed faster and more effectively.

What is Hazing?

According to stophazing.org, hazing is any activity expected of someone joining or participating in a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses, or endangers them, regardless of a person’s willingness to participate.

How to Report a Hazing Incident

Hazing is illegal, plain and simple. If you or you know of a student who is experiencing hazing, we encourage you to report it to Campus Police, Student Engagement & Leadership Development, the Dean of Students Office, or call the national hazing hotline at 1-800-NOT- HAZE

Best Practices in Reporting

All credible allegations will be investigated, but the more details you are able to provide the better we can follow-up. For example, to report, “My student is being hazed” without giving information about your student, the organization they are in, or what is occurring is hard to investigate. It is better to report, “My students is a member of "_____" organization, and my student said that last Saturday they were forced to drink large quantities of alcohol then do calisthenics.”

Hazing Transparency Report

Please Note: There have been no hazing reports for 2025.
