2 Ways to Apply to Study Abroad

At Rhode Island College, you can apply for study abroad in 2 ways:

  • through the overseas university you want to attend or
  • through a program provider

Program providers, or “third-party providers,” are companies that specialize in matching students with study abroad programs around the world. They offer extensive on-site support, including airport pick-up, course registration, housing placement, cultural excursions and more. You should plan on giving yourself two months to research, decide and apply to a program. Here are some helpful resources.
