Achievements to be Recognized

Whether in recognition of a specific accomplishment or an entire career of service, these honors celebrate our distinguished faculty.

Mary Tucker Thorp Award

An award that recognizes demonstrated excellence in teaching, along with excellence in scholarship and/or excellence in professional and collegial service. Full professors with at least six years of service at Rhode Island College are eligible.

Faculty and Staff Emeriti

An honor conferred by the president for exceptional service and distinction. Members of the college faculty or senior administrative staff who've retired from active service in good standing are eligible.
