Starting your journey at Rhode Island College begins with Orientation—an essential step to set you up for success. You’ll meet classmates, connect with faculty and staff, explore resources, and register for courses. Because sessions fill quickly, register early to secure your preferred date.
Are You a Family Member?
Do you have a student that will be attending an Orientation session? We hope that you'll plan to be at Family Orientation, on the same date and time as your student’s orientation.
Are You a First-Year Student?
A first-year student has NOT previously attended another college and has under 24 college credits.
Are You a Transfer Student?
A transfer student HAS previously attended another college and has over 24 college credits.
