Interested in Our Help?

If you feel that you might benefit from our services, we'd like to hear from you! We've received wonderful feedback from the students we've worked with – take a look at our evaluation & recognition. We hope that you'll become one of our success stories.

How We Work

We provide students with access to basic needs, help them manage competing priorities, and assist them in navigating the campus systems. Learning for Life has a team of staff and mentors/navigators (trained peer mentors) who support and advocate for students as they work with them to:

  • identify and problem solve barriers to academic, social, and personal success
  • assess the type of assistance and resources needed
  • explore personal strengths, self-care and wellness strategies
  • develop or strengthen their support system.
  • become more confident navigating and access on- and off-campus resources
  • stay on track with identified goals
  • overcome obstacles in accessing help
  • proactively address problems/stressors to prevent more serious difficulties

"Learning for Life is exactly what every college campus should have, it is an all-inclusive space where students, faculty and staff can come and be welcomed with open arms. As a student who came into college afraid and not confident that I would be able to complete a college education, Learning for Life strengthened my confidence and served as a compass in what seemed like a foreign land to me."
