Career Tasks
- Get a final review of your resume and cover letter from a counselor
- Schedule a mock interview to gain competitive edge
- Utilize Handshake to identify and apply to positions of interest
- Polish professional connections materials - business cards, LinkedIn profile; update competencies and skills on Portfolium
- Attend RIC's job and internship fairs; identify and apply to opportunities
Academic Tasks
- Check with your adviser and with the Registrar's Office to confirm graduation status
- Fill out all necessary graduation documentation
- Finalize graduate programs and schools of interest; review personal statement with a counselor
- Ask faculty, previous employers and/or personal contacts to serve as references
Personal/Social Tasks
- Use LinkedIn and attend networking events
- Join local and national professional organizations
