Welcome to the Academic Success Center, an office in the Division of Student Success. We provide tutorial and support services for students through the Math Learning Lab, Tutorial Services, and the Writing Lab.
What We Do
The Academic Success Center is committed to offering tutoring, academic services, programming, and resources that support all students in thinking critically, planning accordingly, and thriving academically.

Services Offered
Math Learning Lab
We provide tutoring for the Math Placement Exam, Math 010, 120, 139, 143, 144, 177, 209, 210, 212, 213, 240, 248, and 314 as well as for Praxis Math, GRE Math, and ACT Math.
Tutorial Services
Tutoring is available to Rhode Island College students for a number of different disciplines to ensure success.
Writing Lab
The Writing Lab works with writers to explore and develop their ideas, to become aware of the needs of their readers, and to learn the rhetorical and syntactical strategies necessary for effective communication.
